Marcolin was founded in 1968 by two close-knit families who creatively dedicated themselves to bespoke manufacturing of PVC sheeting for the covering sector. A human value, now in its second generation, and technological expertise developed over more than half a century. Based in Pordenone, a region with a long tradition of industrial excellence in northeast Italy, the company operates across three production sites and holds 16 European patents that have revolutionised the sector. For two generations, the company has been firmly rooted in the founding families and their values, focusing on excellence and professionalism while maintaining a strong connection to tradition. With a well-established network across Italy, the company expanded into international markets in 2000, exporting innovative transport covering solutions for the construction, agriculture and waste handling sectors.
An energy driven by constantly listening to the needs of the market, the requests of truck drivers, installers, and builders, has led Marcolin Covering to gain credibility by standing alongside its clients and offering customized solutions to the most classic problems in the sector. From our earliest European patents to our Lean System, Marcolin Covering is committed to the future and to innovation.
The new millennium drives the company’s internationalization and the establishment of relationships with dealers across various European countries. In 2001, the first patents were granted, the result of investments in the in-house Research and Development team. In 2010, Marcolin Covering Srl officially completed its generational transition, with the founders passing the baton to their children. This second generation places even greater focus on human resources, technology, service and a European market vision. Over the course of just 10 years, Marcolin Covering nearly doubled its workforce by implementing innovative solutions in production and business organization. In 2019, the company achieved a complete lean transformation while preparing to establish a branch in France and launch Marcolin Service Germany. These additions complement the already well-established network of dealers and Marcolin Service Points in many European countries.
2008: Innovation award of the Pordenone Chamber of Commerce.
In 2008 Marcolin Covering received the Pordenone Chamber of Commerce award as the company with the highest number of patents in the area, a symbol of industrial excellence in the northeast of Italy.
